FLESH & BUNS from Ross and the team from Bonedaddies has opened in Earlham Street. A kind of Japanese isakaya, great sharing,, excellent buns, dont miss the s’mores.

CERVICHE on Frith St hopes to capture the spirit of Bar Juanito in Lima and serves up excellent Peruvian with an off shoot, Andina, in Shoreditch and more planned.

THE PALOMAR on Rupert Street6 dispenses its Jerusalem cafe buzz. Grab a seat at the counter and hang on tight! Med/Middle East menu, short cocktail and wine menu

Just when you thought Shoreditch had run out of moves.. HOI POLLOI  (from the Bistrotechqe gang) at the Ace Hotel has opened serving bearded gentlemen a blend of futuristic hotel all-day dining.  Worth a look.

Now head over to POLPO to see how the Spuntino cool translates outside Soho.  Venetian share food, great flatbreads in Covent Garden and now a Bib Gourmand for Russell Normans rollout.

High up on hip factor, CLOVE CLUB, from the team that brought us the Young Turks (minus James!) has set up in Shoreditch Town Hall.  Eat casually in the bar or for more depth head for the dining room.

In the mood for some asian white-boy? SOM SAA (from Andy Oliver adnd Tom George is the prelude to their full service offering currentky available in Climpsons Arch.  Super autherntic Thai.

RIDING HOUSE CAFE. Taxidermy, banquettes and lots of on-message sharing in this former HaHa Bar & Grill.  Great design from the guys that brought us the Garrison + Village East. Cafe here means modern-day-brasserie.

MISSION the sequel from Charlotte and Michael Sager-Wilde takes them into restaurant territory.  Foods good, wine’s great. Californian bar & kitchen in Bethnal Green.

WHITE RABBIT in Dalston is the buzziest place in town right now.  Head out for modern British fare in the heart of hipster country.

SMOKING GOAT on Denmark Street dishes out incredible wood ember barbecue with Thai flavours.  Worth dirtying your shirt for.  Hit the wings.. Pok Pok would be proud.

DINNER by Heston (at the Mandarin Oriental, Knightsbridge) is back in the circle of trust.  Named in the Worlds Top 10, you can still eat for very little on a set lunch.  If you can get in.  Here’s how..

KANADA YA leads the ramen revolution (at the moment). Look out for the imported secret sauce from their home base back in Japan.  Just 24 seats so arrive early.

HAWKSMOOR SEVEN DIALS , British steakhouse heavy on cocktails, this is their best outpost. Still the zeitgeist steakhouse in town, and given the amount of openings thats saying something.
